‘One Battle After Another’ Releases Multiple First Posters

April 15, 2025 Jordan Ruimy

Warner Bros has just released character posters for Paul Thomas Anderson’s “One Battle After Another.” You can view Leonardo DiCaprio and Teyana Taylor’s below.

The film, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Regina Hall, Sean Penn, Alana Haim, Teyana Taylor, Chase Infiniti, has test screened at least five times in the last few months. It’s also been trimmed down by around 20 minutes — the latest cut screened clocked in at 150 minutes.

Penn plays Col. Steven J. Lockjaw, a “white supremacist” who had an affair with Teyana Taylor’s character. She ends up leaving him, taking up with Leonardo Dicaprio’s “Bob” and that’s when Lockjaw tries tracking both of them down. ‘One Battle’ has been described as an “epic chase movie” filled with comedic elements, including slapstick, and pitch black drama.

More recently, Warner Bros delayed the film’s release by over a month — “One Battle Over Another” is now set to hit theaters on September 26, 2025. A world premiere at the Venice Film Festival is being heavily rumored.
