Sadie Sink (“Stranger Things”) has been cast in ‘Spider-Man 4.’ She will co-star with Tom Holland. The prevailing theory is that Sink will be introduced as Jean Grey in the film. This is basically what The InSneider first reported a few weeks ago.
Holland will be reprising his role as Spidey, and Zendaya is set to return, in a much smaller role, as MJ. ‘Spider-Man 4,’ has Destin Daniel Cretton (“Shang Chi) stepping in for Jon Watts, the previous director of the first Spider-Man trilogy.
The last instalment, “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” ended with the world forgetting that Peter Parker was Spidey. That memory wipe included MJ (Zendaya), who no longer knows who Peter is. The film garnered strong reviews and grossed almost $2B worldwide worldwide.
“Spider-Man 4” is supposed to start production in the fall. It’s currently set up for a July 31, 2026 release date. There have been rumors that date could be moved up to Christmas 2026.
