If there ever was any doubt about the frontrunner status of “Anora” … Sean Baker’s film just won the WGA award for Best Original Screenplay. Only one film in history has ever won DGA, PGA, WGA and then ended up losing the Oscar — that would be 2005’s “Brokeback Mountain.” Right now, it’s very hard to envision a scenario where “Anora” loses Best Picture.
