The first major deal out of Cannes has landed—and it’s a big one. MUBI has snapped up U.S. rights (along with several other territories) to Lynne Ramsay’s latest.
Multiple outlets are pegging the deal north of $20M, with some heavyweight streamers also reportedly circling before MUBI closed.
A raw and unflinching portrait of motherhood and mental unraveling, “Die My Love,” starring Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson, will be heavily Oscar campaigned for Lawrence’s stunning performance.
The film is the weakest reviewed of Ramsay’s career, which isn’t saying much considering her previous four were all acclaimed. “Die, My Love” currently has a 68 on Metacritic.
