Michelle Trachtenberg has sadly passed away, she was 39. I won’t lie and claim to have been that familiar with her TV work, which included “Gossip Girl” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” but that is way too young an age to die.
Trachtenberg’s body was found Wednesday in her New York City apartment by her mother, police sources told ABC News. No cause has been determined at this time, but she had recently undergone liver treatment.
Trachtenberg’s most popular film was probably “Eurotrip” which is a low-key comedy classic for millennials. Her turn in Greg Araki’s “Mysterious Skin” was also memorable. Her other films credits include “17 Again” “Harriet the Spy,” and “The Scribbler.”
Sincerest condolences to Trachtenberg’s family and friends.
