It turns out that Luca Guadagnino is very serious about his DCU movie. Cinematographer Sayombhu Mukdeeprom will be the cinematographer on Guadagnino’s “Sgt. Rock” — shooting this summer.
It’s an eclectic choice, and I’m loving it. It definitely has me much more interested in the Guadagnino’s DCU film. The latest intel is that Jeremy Allen White might take the lead role in “Sgt Rock,” and that’s after Daniel Craig had, apparently, exited the role.
Mukdeeprom is best known for his work with Apichatpong Weerasethakul (“Syndromes and A Century,” “Memoria,” and “Uncle Boonmee”), and he did also shoot three Guadagninos (“Call Me By Your Name,” “Queer,” and “Suspiria”).
