It was a few months ago that Ridley Scott claimed studio interference for the delays on his Bee Gees biopic, “You Should Be Dancing.”
I’ve had my doubts about Scott’s Bee Gees movie ever coming to fruition. It was supposed to shoot this coming February, but was suddenly delayed and Scott had moved on to shoot “The Dog Stars,” which now stars Jacob Elordi.
According to Variety, Scott’s “You Should Be Dancing” has been moved up and will now shoot before ‘The Dog Stars.’ Have Scott and Paramount finally come to an agreement as to the creative direction they want to take this Bee Gees biopic? Let’s see how long it takes before another potential delay occurs.
Regardless, it didn’t make much sense for Elordi to be shooting ‘Dog Stars’ in February as the next six months will be too busy for the actor — he’s about to go into production on Emerald Fennell’s “Wuthering Heights,” and will embark on “Euphoria” season 2 soon after.
