Brad Pitt’s Brother Decided to Recreate the Ending of ‘Seven' For Commercial Ad

May 5, 2019 Jordan Ruimy

Mother Brewer’s Company, a Springfield ,Missouri company, which happens to be Brad Pitt’s hometown. They recently had the ingenious, and quite laughable, idea of casting Pitt’s own brother, and fellow Springfield resident, Doug Pitt in a commercial to play, well, Brad Pitt. In it, Doug tries to recreate his own brother’s “what’s in the box?!” freak-out, a scene from Fincher’s iconic “Se7en.” A rather tense moment, which has Pitt’s Detective Mills slowly, but very surely, realizing that his wife is dead and that her dismembered head is in a box riiiight next to him. Suffice to say, Doug, actually holds his own in this spoof and, at times, shares rather striking resemblance to his much-famous brother.

Of course, Brad still remains the talented one in the family. However, one google search on Doug and you come to the sudden realization that why need Oscars and fame when you're the goddamn Ambassador to Tanzania! [Source]. One would think that being Brad Pitt’s brother would render you as the “underachiever of the family,” however, Doug isn’t only a well-respected ambassador but he is also described as a “successful tech entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist.”

Imagine being the parents of these two children, both of which became successful by taking two drastically different paths in life.

Mother's found inspiration for our new brew, Doin' Good, in Springfield's own other brother Doug Pitt; founder of Care to Learn and all around good guy. To that end, we feel good sending a portion of package sales their way.

Of note — Hilarious quote I found by a Reddit user concerning this topic:

"Goodwill Ambassador for the United Republic of Tanzania"

That's a pretty badass title. I bet he brags about it to Brad Pitt at every family Christmas dinner.
